The staff here were great! I came in unsure if I had a bad battery and Tim was super kind, checked the battery and confirmed it was bad. Even though they were busy he continued to check in on me while I sorted out how to pay for a battery. He was great during the install and just great to chat with overall. Thank you for the great experience!

Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced at Advance Auto Parts in Decatur, Alabama. Marvin was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional from the moment I tried to return a part. I was told that because the part had been installed, it couldn't be returned, and then I was lectured that I should have diagnosed the vehicle before buying parts. Anyone who has ever worked on a vehicle knows that diagnosing a problem often requires replacing or testing parts. That's part of troubleshooting. Instead of treating a longtime local customer with respect, I was talked down to and made to feel like I was an inconvenience. I've lived here my entire life, and I've never been treated this poorly by a business. You've lost a customer for good, and I'll be contacting corporate to let them know exactly how this store and its employee treated me. If this is how customers are treated, people deserve to know before they spend their money here.

Poor customer service!!! This will be the last time I purchase anything from Advance. Save yourself some headache and go to a place that actually knows what they are talking about- O’Reiley’s it is. Disrespectful staff. Was told one thing and after driving all the way to the store I was told something else. Garbage service!!!!

Congratulations John!! You and the manager have officially ran me off from advanced auto parts. I bought a almost $300 alternator, it went bad (pulley bearing) and in the process contaminated my acc belt. When returning the alt John made several comments some of the highlights include "it's not even making any noise" (as if I'm lying about it?), "You can't warranty it anymore since it's been returned" (in the future). This man was very happy to hear his company's part failed. The manager then lied to my face saying I don't have a serpentine belt on my account. So after going outside to confirm I did infact have a belt under warranty I came back inside to show them. Once again John said okay 30 minutes later, I'm done with installing the replacement alternator my last step is to install the belt. It's still not ready and I watch John for 3 mins click back and forth accomplishing nothing. I told him nevermind that I've been there too long. Upon starting my car i realized I damaged a connector to my ac causing the clutch to SCREAM, well ole John was walking out at that time and had to make a negative comment. To digress, I'll never return to this store and that's for my own good. It'

Horrible experience, When I walked in Chandler instead of helping me or even say hello decided to yell "I need a translation " when I told him I spoke English he said his manager gave him a bilingual to use so he was going to when he saw a person of my race. Joselin was very very helpful, even she felt offended by his remarks.
